Strategy games are always good but if your looking for a fun cheap FPS trying picking up FEAR Its a great game but there is the possibility you'll get a heart attack... really scary game. C.O.D franchise is always fun too and medal of honor is cheaper now

Some of my favorite PS2 games are RPGs. It's like the PS2 was made to come out with the best Roleplaying Games or something. Try out: Disgaea Makai Kingdom Persona 3 Xenosaga ( I, II, & III ) Grandia III Radiata Stories Star Ocean: 'Til the End of Time I don't know much about PSP games. As for PC games, I can only suggest some old ones that my computer can still process ( because it's old and suckage ) like Unreal Tournament 99 ( which I still play ).. Or the Free-to-Play games that Korea likes to pump out, such as Asda Story ( MMORPG ), Gunbound ( basically the game Worms, but with small vehicles ), Grand Chase ( Co-op Sidescrolling ), or S4 League ( really fun TPS game with guns, swords, and a football-like game mode ).

Civilization.. I don't want to pay up that much again, I'll just borrow it from yo- I mean, someone.
FEAR. Noted.
Ah, Xenosaga! THATS the game I was looking for last time. I had played the first one before but never got to finish it.
Thanks guys.

At what point does a living being become a monster or a living weapon?

If you like FPS games and don't want to reach for your wallet, then I recommend these totally free games: Quake Live (browser-based, more modern version of Quake III: Arena) Cube 2: Sauerbraten (Similar to Quake 3 but has the neat feature of being able to edit maps in real time) Tremulous (Two teams, aliens or humans fight to destroy each others base. Each team brings their own gameplay and the game can be pretty complex as it also incoporates more strategy than most shooters) Openarena: (Essentially the original Quake 3 engine but with user-made mods, models, maps, etc. Good for lower-end PCs and higher-end)
If you like Worms but again don't want to pay, check out Hedgewars (very similar with some weapon changes and hedgehogs instead of worms) and a good arcade-style shooter is Kobo Deluxe. For platforming there's SuperTux (which plays like Super Mario Bros but stars the Linux mascot, Tux), Secret Mayro Chronicles and OpenSonic (2d sonic game that features teamwork aspects by switching between Sonic, Tails and Knuckles)

XD

I think Cube 2 is pretty awesome, but I can't find anyone to play with and I don't really get the level editor thing. XD Eh, hate to be picky but Cube 2 is the engine and Sauerbraten the game The level editor is certainly impressive compared to how level editing must be done in other games (either outside of the game in a program made for editing or using the in-game editor which is a separate option from actually playing) although it can be tricky to get your head around to make good maps. Most of the time I just practice with bots offline or play single player rather than go online. For online shooting I tend to stick with Quake Live.

Yeah, but Sauerbraten or however you pronounce it just sounds weird. XD I want to get good at it, so I can just drop people in lava and stuff.
